The reminiscences event is an informal event.
We will be having chats about any barriers to education, health care, work/career that people have faced through being queer. Maybe you haven't faced barriers and that is a story too. We will also talk about going out to clubs and bars ( queer and non queer) and the portrayal of queer people in the arts. The recorders will be on in case the chat inspires any research ideas for the project but none of it will get put in the public domain as permissions forms are not signed. It's only ever me that would listen back to the recording. If you would like to be interviewed for the project, then you can get in touch with me after the session. I can explain the ethical interview process on the night. I will give out business cards so you know how to get in touch. There is never any pressure to be interviewed! You just need to bring yourself to the event. |
