Once or twice a year we hold 'Wee Gathering on Wellbeing' events which take a look as aspects of Wellbeing. These events are always practical and participatory.

On the topic of Resilience
Led by Di Murray giving you space to “come up for air”
Buffet tea at 6.00pm
Session starts 6.45 and will finish by 9.30pm.
Session is free, cost for buffet will be £5.
If you are planning on coming to the buffet you must have registered in advance so we are able to cater for numbers and dietary needs.
What to expect?
Space and time for exploring what personal resilience is (and perhaps isn’t) and how this relates to the community we find ourselves in.
The evening will provide and opportunity for personal reflection to enhance resilience and wellbeing. A chance to interact with the ComingUp4Air model of 4 positive postures and the evidence-based practices which accompany them and to provide some practical takeaways for sustaining resilience in one’s self and the community.

Opening creative exercise - Using our 5 senses to explore resilience
Rest with Awareness - Self awareness - noticing my energy and self talk
Reflect with Acceptance - Self care - What is nourishing and depleting?
Restore with Alignment - Self efficacy - Gaining some agency and perspective
Reset with Agility for the future - Serving others - How am I resourced and how can I be a resource?

A Little About Di Murray
Di is a resilience practitioner, coach, and communicator with a background in business, psychology and mental health. She lives and works in the Scottish Borders and further afield and has been a member of Duns and District Parish Church for around 20 years. Di runs her own consultancy DJM Coaching and Facilitation and in 2013 she founded of “ComingUp4Air” – space to breathe; in response to a growing need for quality reflective spaces amidst the demands of a complex, uncertain and face paced world. Di currently divides her time between her work with DJM/ Comingup4Air and her role as the Local Area Coordinator for Mental Health for the Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnership. She is the Founder and Trustee of Parentspace – a local SCIO providing resources and support at all stages of the parenting journey.
Di is passionate about the values of curiosity, compassion and courage and encouraging others to learn to live from these; to make a difference for themselves and those they are trying to serve. Di is warm, honest and engaging, bringing a dynamic joyful and mindful approach to all her clients.
