An opportunity to deepen your practice and learn more about traditional yoga.
The retreat will last 4 hours and include
an introduction to a series of traditional Hatha yoga postures,
Shoulder opening sequence, hip opening sequence,
Surya Namaskar ( sun salutations ),
Bandhas (body locks)
Pranayama( yogic breathing techniques).
A daily 10 minute routine, to take home with you, with full instructional handouts.
Finishing with a Yoga Nidra session (yogic Sleep) .
But don't worry if it sounds too much, it will be broken up, with the more energising, dynamic work being done in the first half. Then time for a break with tasty home baked healthy snacks (recipes included) and herbal tea followed by a slower paced second session.
