Ever wanted to bake your own delicious bread at home? This is the course for you! Learn the skills of kneading, proofing and shaping to produce different loaves and rolls, and all things bread; the history and the importance of the ingredients and processes involved. You’ll gain all the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to bake a selection of artisan bread at home including: White country style loaf, Malt house loaf & a variety of bread rolls. Sunday 2nd Oct.
Imagine sitting in a Parisian cafe, sipping a strong espresso and biting in to the most perfect, rich, buttery, flaky, puffed, homemade croissant…….. Okay … so I can’t give you the café in Paris but you will be able to recreate that perfect croissant at home after this half day course. Learn the skills of kneading, proofing and shaping to produce artisan patisseries, and learn about the history and the importance of the ingredients and processes involved. With a hands-on approach you will gain the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to make a range of delicious pastries, including: Croissants, Pain au chocolat and Pain au raisin Sunday 16th Oct.
