Finn’s Place is a small community wellbeing centre based within Langside Church. We’re looking for two reliable, caring people to join our friendly team and help us make sure our shared space is always clean, safe, and ready to welcome the many people who come through our doors each week.

Help us keep Finn’s Place and Langside Church clean, tidy, and welcoming
Finn’s Place is a small community wellbeing centre based within Langside Church. We’re looking for two reliable, caring people to join our friendly team and help us make sure our shared space is always clean, safe, and ready to welcome the many people who come through our doors each week.
🧼 Role details:
- 6 hours per week (per person)
- Shifts to be agreed around needs of Finn’s Place, Langside Church and the right candidate (for example Morning 7–9am or Night 9.30 - 11.30pm) with some weekend availability needed.
- One shift must cover cleaning the church in preparation for Sunday services.
- Working days to be agreed based on availability and rota needs.
🧽 We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience using a floor buffer and professional cleaning equipment.
- Can work independently and take pride in doing a job well.
- Notice the little things — a door smudge, a misplaced chair, a forgotten bin.
- Care about community and want to help Finn’s Place and Langside Church feel welcoming and well looked after.
💰 Pay and contract details:
- Hourly rate: £12.60
- 6 hours per week, permanent contract after successful completion of a 2 month probationary period.

Board members: We are looking for board members to help with the strategic development and management of Finn's Place. Current requirements - fund raising, HR expertise.
