Workshop is delivered by a qualified Buteyko instructor.
Learn the power of your breath and how most of us do not utilise this natural bodily function correctly.
You will learn the biochemistry of breathing and how to release the muscles that prevent us breathing correctly,
improve your nervous system, your immune response and live and sleep better!

How many times have you heard that. But what if every deep breath was not productive?
How we breathe directly affects our nervous system; our digestive system; our whole being!
It's a natural bodily function but sometimes we can get "stuck" in breathing patterns which are not healthful.
Whether these unhelpful patterns are triggered by anxiety, by poor posture, tight respiratory muscles,
asthma or surgery they can in themselves lead to you being in a permanent state of "fight or flight."
They can also set you up for physical pain in shoulders, neck and head and potentially lead to issues like
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.

Format:
*15 minutes lecture format on the anatomy of breathing
*followed by some practical exercise to release main breathing muscles.
