Menopause! Does this word fill you with fear or does it signal the start of a new life phase,

filled with exciting possibilities?  For many women, it’s a bit of both!  Unsurprising really, as

the narrative around this natural process remains largely negative. 

With so much confusing, conflicting (and often unscientific) advice out there, it can be

difficult to understand what’s happening and how you can stay fit and healthy through this

sometimes turbulent time. 

This is where Menopositivity comes in!  Knowledge is power and this stimulating 6 week

course will cover key areas of concern for women approaching menopause: bone health, body

composition changes, stress management and more!  You’ll discover the best evidence-based

exercise, nutritional and lifestyle strategies to help you stay fit and healthy.

The sessions are interactive. Questions will be encouraged and you’ll have the opportunity to

share your experiences in a safe and supportive environment.  Each session will conclude with

an empowering, enjoyable exercise session relevant to the topic under discussion.

Week 2: Body composition changes

Weeks 3 and 4: Bone and muscle health

Week 5: Cardiovascular health considerations

Week 6:
Building mental resilience (sleep, stress and brain fog)

Kathleen  Shahbaz has a wealth of

knowledge and has a spent years

studying women's wellness. She is

determined to spread the word on how to

turn menopause into something positive and

​empowering.


You are welcome to drop in, but we

recommend you book the course as a

whole as the material is planned to

cover a certain topic each week.


Expect nutritional advice, tailored

exercise(for any ability) and a safe

space to ​share.
