We hope you can join us on Sunday 22nd April for an afternoon of yoga and deep relaxation, designed to leave you feeling energised and refreshed.

What will the afternoon retreat involve?

1.30 - 3pm  Restoring Energy

We will be stretching and flowing in and out of a particular set of postures (asanas) to give the physical body the opportunity to restore and renew, focusing on core strength and overall flexibility.  You will be guided through an energising sequence - the Inner Fire Sequence - composed to leave you feeling alert and refreshed.

3.30pm - 4.30pm  Finding Stillness
After stretching the physical body, we will enjoy some gentle mindful movements and a deep relaxation, helping us to release any remaining tiredness and tightness stored within us. We will practise some breathing techniques (pranayama) to calm the mental chatter, bring clarity to the mind, and feel a sense of connectedness between body, mind and spirit.

Registration on the day opens at 1.10pm.
After registering, please find a space in the room, settle on your mat, so that we can start at 1.30pm sharp.

You can bring your own yoga mat and blanket. However don't worry if you don't have a mat or blanket, as there are plenty spare ones at Finn's Place. Bring some water for the workshop - we will also have a break where tea and biscuits will be provided.
