Walk 4 - Chatelherault Country Park: Saturday 11th Mar
This 5km/3mile walk will take in some of the Chatelherault Country Park’s wonders: the river Avon and the Duke’s Bridge, ancient oaks, ruined Cadzow Castle,
Terrain: Good forest tracks, but some sections can get muddy and there are a couple of steeper sections and flights of steps.
Toilets and refreshments are available in the visitor centre near the start of the walk. Please bring lunch or snacks unless you want to buy something (and in case the café is closed).
Travel: Train from Glasgow Central to Chatelherault takes 30 minutes (£5.00 return).
Meet under the big clock, upstairs in Glasgow Central Station at 8.50am for 9.21am train. Back around 1.00pm.
